WHEN THE gods EXCHANGE GREETINGS WITH MAN. SCENE 1 In a normal scene , one may wonder the kind of greetings the gods and man would had. But as events might had it,this happened in a place not quite distance afar from where you're now. Even when the gods are taking to be heralds thereby they usher either a benovelent or malovelent services to man,doesn't mean that the gods are crazy. As a matter of facts,looking at the association between the gods and man,these questions may not be wrong if being asked at all. (1) Are the gods really interested in the affairs of humanity?,if being so,why then should it be?. (2) Do we really need the gods attention or interference for any reason?. (3) Do we share the same atmosphere with the gods?. (4) Is the association between man and the gods beneficial to each other?. (5) Do we demean our potentiality by consulting or seeking the gods attention?. Let us assume that these questions are by the way,would you mind exchanging greetings or a hand shake with the gods even for a reason or no reason?. This remains me of early 70s when i travelled to jos to spent my one week sabbatical leave, after the time allotted to me was due,on my way coming back,unfortunately my car broke down which left me bemused for some time as i was unable to fit it neither is there any auto mobile mechanic within my reach as this happened in a very deserted area. Just as i noticed that the car failure to function was as a result of dry tank,a man with Toyota wagon ran not up to 2 poles ahead of me and stopped which was accounted for his car tyre having been burst. Without hesitation,I move straight to him as i noticed that he has no spare tyre with him. "could this be a co-incident?",i asked myself in the sense that i ran out of petrol having no reserve,but with spare and he also,having a burst tyre with no spare,but with reserved petrol.
